Yesterday, I explored Central Park !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Today was Part II: The Aftermath. Very beautiful aftermath:
The amount of sledding hills is mind-boggling.
And now that it stopped snowing, the sled trails can be packed down for extra sledding speed/distance!
MOAR sledding!
Can’t find a sled or a hill? No problem. Just use a staircase and some cardboard!
Stairs = sledding hills. Stair landings = jumps!
See?!? That’s a solid 18" of air!
Then I got attacked by pigeons.
Looking back towards the city from atop the 65th Street Transverse. Yellow cab to remind you that you’re in NYC.
A perfect white Sheep Meadow.
See that guy on the left? There were a number of people cross-country skiing through the park.
With the blizzard gone, people are out in force on The Mall.
Bethesda Fountain is home to pigeons and children alike.
Such an amazing view across the frozen lake.
Belvedere Castle post-blizzard.
And the stunning view from the Castle overlook.
Deep within the Ramble.
This was the only liquid water I saw in the park.
Ducks like liquid water!
Approaching Times Square.
A resourceful kid building his own studio apartment in Times Square.
